How authorization works

WP Manager never asks for your WordPress administrator password.

  1. Check the public REST API and connector readiness.
  2. If needed, install the approved WordPress connector.
  3. Continue to your own WordPress administrator page.
  4. Click Authorize & Sync inside WordPress.
  5. Return here and verify read-only access.

Web dashboard site permissions are separate from your ChatGPT OAuth client's existing site permissions.
